Chi LaBossiere Kulig owns and operates Chi Consulting. She is a Marketing & Events professional who has successfully managed marketing campaigns, coordinated large and small scale events, and secured positive press for organizations.
Her event and marketing experience began at a very young age while helping her family to operate Still Waters resort in Voluntown, Connecticut. This 130 acre family owned summer resort catered to visitors from New York City, Boston and New Jersey for 27 years. Its ten acre lake, hiking trails, and open fields was the perfect setting for weddings, music retreats, meditation groups, and large family gatherings. Chi was responsible for all aspects of the resort such as advertising, hosting, and managing.
After receiving a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management at Stetson University, Chi went on to manage the Bee & Thistle Inn restaurant in Old Lyme, Connecticut. She was responsible for all restaurant operations and events. Chi continued event work as the Project Manager for Inspired Solutions Corporation, a multimedia advertising company, and managed client advertising, marketing and national event campaigns. This position required her to represent clients at national trade shows in Washington DC, Florida, New York City and Atlantic City. She co-coordinated the November 2002 Connecticut Veterans Day Parade through PME Enterprises. As a contractor at Pratt & Whitney, Chi successfully managed a $68 million defense project.
Most recently Chi was the Marketing & Events Manager for CONNSTEP, Connecticut’s Manufacturing Resource. She was responsible for the company brand, advertising campaigns, marketing budget, legislative events, manufacturer plant tours, seminars, press releases, newsletters, brochures and flyers.
Chi founded Artists in Real Time, Inc., a 501(c)3 dedicated to promoting the arts through public events such as Open Studio Weekend in Hartford. She served as Vice Chair of the Artists in Real Time Board of Directors from February 2003 through July 2006.
