Hartford’s Best Regional Artist Open Studios Event!

This year’s Open Studio Weekend in Hartford was a huge success! Over 800 attendees enjoyed the opening reception, and thousands flocked to visit over 115 artists and experience 23 live performances during the November 3 & 4 weekend.

The 18th Annual Open Studio Weekend in Hartford was honored by the Honorable Mayor Eddie A. Perez, who presented the event with a proclamation and declared November 1, 2008 to be Open Studio Weekend Day!

The opening reception had 4 live performances including spoken word, belly dancing, and live jazz music from “the Noise From The Box.” Reception was provided by Belly Laughs Catering, a Food Network recipe contestant, and several local restaurants. Reduced parking was provided by the Greater Hartford Transit District.
