CT Made Films Wanted!
Submit films now to be featured at the second Connecticut Cinematic Celebration!
Hartford, CT – For the second year in a row, the Connecticut Cinematic Celebration will honor short films that have been written, produced, or shot in Connecticut. Filmmakers that create full-length feature films will also be honored. Those filmmakers are welcome to submit trailers for new feature films. This exciting event is a celebration of film as an art form, and of the wide range of talents and skills that Connecticut filmmakers possess. It is about appreciating filmmaking as an art form.
The Connecticut Cinematic Celebration will be held during the two-week series of events that comprise the 22nd Open Studio Hartford. The film celebration will be held the morning of Saturday November 5th; the event will be free and open to the public. Film submissions are being accepted now through October 5th. To submit a film, or for more information, contact Chi at 860-295-0433.
The Connecticut Cinematic Celebration is an event created by Timothy Kulig from Ambient Music Group, and Chi LaBossiere Kulig from Chi Consulting. Each year the group seeks out new collaborations with film organizations and filmmakers, with the objective of working together to pay tribute to, and to bring together, the local film industry. This year assistance is provided by Neal Thomassen of FIM, SECT, Helder Mira of Rabbit Ears Media, Nancy Anstey of the Farmington Valley Film Commission, and other local film organizations.
